The venue can be reached via the B556, St Albans Road between M25, J22 and South Mimms. Further details can be found on the Abbey website.
There is ample parking on the site as well as toilet facilities. The ground is available from 09.30.
We've been asked to abide by the conditions that they have for the use of their ground:
- Carbon arrows (e.g. Easton Avance Carbon) cannot be shot;
- Aluminium/Carbon arrows (e.g. Easton ACCs) are allowed;
- No smoking or vaping is allowed on site, and
- No alcohol can be brought onto the site.
Lunch after shooting will be hot drinks and general finger food, ‘snacks and cakes’ etc. We've been asked if our archers could bring their own cups as there are no ‘washing up facilities’ on the field.
Recurve team shoot on the day, all other bow styles welcome, but scores are postal and can be shot throughout the month.
Please email Mark Coles if you intend to shoot the match, and inform him which Short Metric round you will be shooting, along with bow type, junior age as of 31st December, and any dietary requirements.
